There's always something happening in Millsboro! The annual Nanticoke Native American Tribe Powwow is one of the area's most popular events with residents and visitors alike, but it's far from the only event in town. In addition to the Powwow, annual events and festivals include the 4th of July Parade, the Big Thursday Festival held on the second Thursday of August, Festival Hispano, and free community concerts in Cupola Park on summer Sundays.

Get outside and enjoy some sunshine in Millsboro! One of the town's top outdoor spots is Cupola Park, a beautiful and amenity-filled park along the Indian River. Here, you can enjoy scenic walking paths, a playground, a picnic area, shoreline fishing, and even a boat ramp into the Indian River. It's also home to community events and festivities, like Concerts in the Park. Just a short drive from Millsboro, there are numerous other outdoor areas to enjoy, like Trap Pond State Park, Assawoman Wildlife Area, and Redden State Forest.

The tidal Indian River begins at Millsboro Pond and flows into the Atlantic Ocean at the Indian River Inlet, making Millsboro an ideal retreat for boaters and anglers. The town is also conveniently located in the back bay area, approximately halfway between the Rehoboth/Dewey Beach area and the Quiet Resorts of Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. Millsboro is also a short skip, hop, and jump from the historic towns of Lewes and Milton.
